Pro tip: If you're taking Amtrak into town from the south, you might want to get off at Alexandria and take either the Blue or Yellow line from there instead of going all the way to Washington Union Station and taking the Red from there. You can save as much as half an hour! (With VRE it is a little different because there stops at Crystal City and L'Enfant Plaza.)

Man the production quality of this video was next level, one of the better Plane Spotting videos I’ve seen, I’m hoping for more in the future !

Great HD video. HVN's runway seems short for sustained 737 operations. I used to live & work not far from there years ago and was surprised Avelo choose the airport as a hub for their east coast operations given the short runway and populated area. Loved watching the southerly take off with the view of Long Island sound.

The only thing about this I know I won't like is -the heated floors -the seats look so uncomfortable Like what's the point of heated floors Like ain't no one is walking bare foot to feel the temperature of the floor

I like the bench to normal seating ratio! I think they've achieved a pretty happy medium for the level of service they're trying to achieve.

Haven't been to JFK in decades. Love the video. Used to drive my dad to JFK because he traveled to Germany a lot for business. Reminds me of watching the planes arrive and depart with the kids from the upstairs observation deck JFK had. Is that where the TWA Hotel is now?

A question for you, Javan: we know that from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. the Plane Train runs in a reduced service mode, with only two trains both running on one track back and forth. The two trains pass each other in a siding near the Concourse B platforms in this configuration. The remaining trains receive routine maintenance at this time. But what does it mean that the train system stops on Wednesday mornings at 1 a.m. during the off-peak time for maintenance of the track? Isn't possible to use the other track in this time and to have a 24/7 (and not a 24/6...) service? Thank you for the possible reply.

I’m glad I had visited this since I was able to give my feedback on this, mainly so I could suggest having a human read out the automated announcements since they’re typically pre-recorded like they are on the 7000-series

This is quite an interesting and informative take on your planespotting video! I was fortunate enough to fly on that Delta B717 last year; it was quite of an experience to fly on one of their oldest McDonnell Douglas jets.

I have a really important memory with the metro my mom and her friend use to live by Rhode Island avenue on the top floor of a very high apartment and I remember at age 3-6 I would just stay up until like 2 am just watching the trains go by at night it was just such a beautiful view and made me feel at home and so peaceful
